MNN:
WayForward turned 25 yesterday, March 1st. To celebrate being around for a quarter century, the Shantae developer is teasing some type of incoming fun. Founded in 1990, WayForward got its start in the SNES era of gaming. It has developed more than 200 titles and continues to support Nintendo systems with multiplatform games and exclusives alike. One of its latest releases, Shantae and the Pirates Curse, is available only on the Nintendo eShop for both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. WayForward creative director Matt Bozon recently attributed the studios success to longtime Nintendo fans.

It's impossible to ignore just how successful a mobile game can be in this day and age - look at the insane amount of cash Clash of Clans is raking in.
Nintendo couldn't ignore it any longer and released its first ever mobile-type game for Nintendo 3DS in Pokemon Shuffle, a free to play match-three puzzler.
